Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payments and only delvier to the UK mainland - if you require delivery elsewhere please contact us to discuss in more detail.

We accept Visa and MasterCard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Delivery Schedule

DELIVERY ADVICE

Delivery times for stoves and spare parts will vary depending on whether they are in stock, readily available from the manufacturer or, in some cases, have longer than normal lead times. Please note there are no weekend deliveries - Monday to Friday only.

Stoves - The delivery guidance for stoves is as follows:-

• 5 to 7 working days if readily available from the manufacturer
• 7 working days to 6 weeks (extreme situation) if goods on backorder and not readily available
• The delivery driver is obliged to wait with you for up to 15 mins while you unpack the goods and check them
• Should the driver refuses to wait please mark the delivery note as "unchecked"
• If a stove is damaged, refuse delivery and do not sign for it - the item will be returned to us
• Orders for delivery to EIRE and Channel Islands can no longer be accepted

Stove spare parts - The delivery guidance for all stove spare parts is as follows:-

• 1 to 5 working days if in stock
• 5 to 7 working days if readily available from the manufacturer
• 7 working days to 6 weeks (extreme situation) if goods on backorder and not readily available
• All spare parts are delivered by courier and need to be checked and signed for upon receipt
• If your goods are damaged please contact our Customer Service Team within 24 hours (quoting your Order Reference and Delivery Note Number)
• Orders for delivery to EIRE and Channel Islands can no longer be accepted

• All Orders must be paid for in full at the time of placing order
• Our trained staff will process your order and confirm your order back by email

Please ensure ALL of your contact details are correct and we have phone numbers that we can contact you on. You will automatically be notified of a delivery date, or if you prefer, you can change this date to one that suits you better.

Exchanges and Returns

If we have sent the wrong part to you we will ensure an exchange at no additional cost to you. However, where a customer has ordered the wrong part for their stove or no longer requires the par,t there will be additional charges such as:-

Stove glass is cut to size for customers orders so this is NOT returnable, unless faulty

ALL RETURNS AND EXCHANGES MUST BE DONE WITHIN 7 WORKING DAYS

IF GOODS ARE RETURNED AFTER 7 WORKING DAYS A CREDIT NOTE WILL BE ISSUED, LESS ANY RE-STOCKING FEE AND POSTAGE


Dispatch terms and conditions

Where possible all orders received will be despatched the following working day, on a next day service, with the exception of orders received on Thursday and Friday. These will be despatched on Monday.

Next day deliveries

• These will be delivered between the hours of 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday only
• If you are not available for delivery at the agreed time you may incur a redelivery charge
• Stoves will be delivered on a 7.5 tonne delivery vehicle (about the size of a bin waggon). Please let us know as soon as possible if there will be any problems with access
• These stoves are heavy. As there will only be one delivery driver who will help unload the stove, we suggest you have at least one other person available to assist where possible
• The driver will be unable to move the stove across gravelled or unfinished drives, through narrow openings or up/down steps
• Unfortunately, due to insurance and Health and Safety issues, the driver is NOT able to move the stove inside your house. However, the driver will be able to wheel it into your garage if possible

While we do our utmost to ensure your goods are delivered on the agreed date at the agreed time, this is in the hands of third-party couriers over whom we have no direct control.

Back Orders

If the product(s) you purchase are not in stock then we will contact you with an estimated delivery date.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added.

All other orders are VAT free.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee

We strive to supply goods in excellent condition. Stoves are both heavy and fragile, and need careful handling until installed. We will repair or replace (for free) any item found defective or damaged before delivery or during unloading. This is in addition to your manufacturer's guarantee.

Bowland Stoves Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

If you log in to an account, your logged-in status is recorded in a temporary cookie. If you select the 'Remember Me' Option in the checkout, a cookie will be used to remember your details. You can turn off cookies by blocking them in your browser Privacy settings. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use them.

Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfil customer orders.
b. Administer and enhance the site and service.
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes.

Returns Policy

We cannot accept return of products which are damaged after delivery.

When choosing a carrier to return your goods to us, you must make sure that Bowland Stoves are allowed to open and inspect the contents when we receive it. If the carrier will not allow us to open the goods then our warehouse will refuse delivery and the goods will be returned to you on your carrier. This could incur further costs to you.

The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. Returned items to us must be sent by recorded delivery.

Your package will not be accepted by our warehouse unless a valid Returns form has been completed and you have received a Returns number from us.
