How often have you seen a stove and thought yes, but that may well be just a little too big for my room? Well, the Parkray Consort 5 Compact stove is pretty much a replica of the original Parkray Consort 5 stove except it is just that little bit smaller. It will fit snugly in a corner while still catching the eye of any passers-by. In recent times we have seen a trend towards smaller stoves but the challenge for manufacturers has been to retain all of the technology and power within. A small machine with the same kind of punch as the original, not bad going!
Those who follow the stove market would be well aware there has been a move back towards more traditional wood-burning stoves of late. So what did Hunter Stoves do, simple, they brought out a wood-burning stove with a multifuel option. So for those who like a traditional burn they can stick with wood fuel and those who like solid fuel can burn their preference. However, due to the tripleburn technology it is a pleasure to watch the flickering flames and the burning embers. The ability to burn, re-burn and burn again to reduce emissions and increase heat capacity should not be underestimated. What a joy to sit back and relax
The heat capacity of the Parkray Consort 5 Compact stove is a more than adequate at 3.5 kW up to 5.5 kW with a 4.7 kW nominal output. The efficiency rating is impressive at 76% and it weighs in at 99 kg with the now traditional hot airwash system to keep the front glass panel clean at all times. The stove has a width of 451 mm, height of 551 mm with a depth of 363 mm. It is not difficult to see why this model is proving popular. It is all down to the traditional feel with the latest burn technology and an ambience which relaxes you in a split second. Need we say more? Oh yes, you also have the option of a single door or double door.
