The beauty of the Parkray Consort 7 Gas stove is the fact you don't realise it is powered by gas until your nose is literally touching the glass (not to be advised!). Since Hunter took on the Parkray brand, it has really gone from strength to strength with traditional wood-burning/multifuel stoves and the expansion of the gas range. Recent press comment shows that gas stoves are becoming more popular, powered by both natural gas and LPG, and many are flocking to quality fires such as the Parkray Consort 7 Gas stove.

When you look at the Parkray Consort 7 Gas stove your eyes are drawn to the firebed which comes in coal or log variations. This is what gives the stove the look of a wood-burning/multifuel stove and will often catch out many enthusiasts. There are two different variations, one fuelled by natural gas and one fuelled by LPG, together with the option of single or double doors. It is important that you are aware of the various options so that you get exactly what you want. So, where do we start with the technical aspects of the Parkray Consort 7 Gas?

As we alluded to above, the stove comes with either a coal or log effect bed which allows you to watch the flickering flames and the lifelike burning embers. The polished interior panels ensure that the light created by the gas fire shines bright throughout your room. You will also be pleased to know that the Parkray Consort 7 Gas comes with a remote control that allows you to lie back with total control over the fire.

We know that demand for gas fires has been increasing in recent years. What is also telling today is the growing demand for established gas fire brand names such as Parkray. This machine looks traditional, has a traditional feel to it but once you get close, you will soon realise it is a gas fire. Who would have guessed, we have now come full circle back round to gas stoves?
