The Scene Eco multifuel stove is one of the latest in the Penman Collection and typifies the skill and experience which goes into creating a modern day multifuel stove. At first glance, this seems like a traditional wood-burning stove, the box design with the rounded edges, the four small feet and the traditional door handle. However, it is only when you dig a little deeper; you find that this is one of the most efficient eco-friendly stoves available today. The ability to encompass the latest in combustion technology within what is a relatively small traditional looking stove is very impressive!
The term eco is becoming more prominent and more important not only in the stove industry but also broader life. Regulators and consumers are now demanding that modern day stoves, such as the Scene Eco multifuel stove, are highly efficient and eco-friendly. The ability to burn and re-burn fuel, reducing emissions while extracting maximum heat output has been a game changer for the industry. When you also consider these machines are made from a cast iron construction they are built to last, and last for many years. The images perhaps don't do the stove justice; the enlarged glass window is arched allowing you to watch the flickering flames and burning embers while you relax. While this is a subtle touch it hasn't gone unnoticed by consumers.
Turning now to the specifications of the Scene Eco multifuel stove, the stove has a height of 595 mm, width of 504 mm with a depth of 352 mm, with the four small supporting legs attached.
The Scene Eco multifuel stove also has a nominal heat rating of 5 kW, creating between 2.5 kW and 8 kW of output - suitable for small to medium-sized rooms. There is the option of a top or rear flue outlet (size 125 mm) which allows you a degree of discretion on where to place the Scene Eco multifuel stove in your room. As you would expect with a modern day stove, burning wood and solid fuel, there is an important airwash system which ensures that the glass window is clear at all times.
Carrying on from the eco-friendly nature of the Scene Eco multifuel stove, you won't be surprised to learn it is DEFRA approved for use in smoke control areas. The stove also has an energy rating of A+ which is more than adequate for the modern day market.
So, it is safe to say that the Scene Eco multifuel stove ticks all of the relevant environment, quality and pricing boxes. While the eco-friendly stove market is becoming crowded, stoves such as the Scene Eco multifuel stove are attracting much more than their fair share of interest. This is a very impressive stove and one worth considering.
