Product Description
It is fair to say that the ACR Larchdale wood-burning stove is a giant even amongst giants. As you can see, the ACR Larchdale stove is based on a very traditional style which together with the nominal 9 kW output and 50 cm long legs makes it perfect for a large room. While many people continue to concentrate on contemporary style stoves, it is interesting to see companies such as ACR still releasing an array of beautiful traditional designs.
The heat output is 9 kW nominal although it odes range between 4.5 kW and 11.5 kW. It is also worth noting that, due to the design of the stove, it is DEFRA approved for those looking to burn wood in smoke control areas. While this is something that will come into play further down the line, the ACR Larchdale stove is also SIA Eco Design ready and has an EEI A+ classification for EcoLabelling. In the future they will be more and more focus on efficiency and stoves with a more environmentally friendly technology. It is safe to say that the ACR Larchdale stove is a monster of a machine and while under the surface lays the latest in technology; the design is traditional to say the least.
