The fact the Dunsley Highlander 5 Enviroburn Solo Multi Fuel / Wood Burning Stove has the word "Enviroburn" in the title says everything. We live in a world where the environment is key, air pollution is under constant review and stove companies are under pressure to design and create highly efficient machines. The ability to create a stove which is respectful of the traditional design, but includes the latest in combustion technology, has certainly been a challenge. Step forward Dunsley, and the very popular Dunsley Highlander 5 Enviroburn Solo Multi Fuel / Wood Burning Stove.
The main attraction for many people who own a wood burning/multifuel stove is the ability to watch the flickering flames and the burning embers. The window on the door of the Dunsley Highlander 5 Enviroburn Solo Multi Fuel / Wood Burning Stove is clear and gives you the perfect angle. It is also important to note there is a controllable airwash system which ensures that you will have full visibility at all times. Thankfully, for many people, the stove is DEFRA approved for use in smoke controlled areas and already abides by the Ecodesign Ready regulations (despite the fact these are not live as yet). So, it is safe to say that Dunsley remain one step ahead of the regulations, in touch with ongoing environmental trends and have delivered yet another highly competitive and very popular machine.
If we now take a look at the technical specifications of the Dunsley Highlander 5 Enviroburn Solo Multi Fuel / Wood Burning Stove we can see it offers 5 kW of heat. This is more than enough to heat a small to medium-sized room and even take the chill off a larger room. It has dimensions of width 425 mm, height 630 mm with a depth of 385 mm. The stove has an efficiency rating of 78.9% and with a steel body and cast-iron door, weighs in at around 88 kg.
